Net income is the gross income minus your allowable deductions. Gross income is the total, non-excluded income, before any deductions have been made. Resources do not include SSI, TANF and in most states vehicles. If at least one person is 60 years old or older, or is disabled the household may have $3,500 in countable resources. You may have $2,250 in countable resources, such as a bank account. Determine your household resources or assets.The total household income must be below a certain amount based on the number of people in the household.

SNAP NURSE REQUIREMENTS VERIFICATION
Once the initial application is filled out, you will follow up with a face-to-face interview, and you will be required to provide verification of your income and expenses. You can apply for food stamps online in most states, or at a local state or county office. Many states also work with other local agencies to provide ongoing nutritional education and training to SNAP recipients. SNAP is funded by the federal government and administered through the states.
